What is Fun2Find Deals?

Fun2Find Deals is a site where you can find the best deals on a little bit of everything! I have shared deals for dish soap, kids’ toys & games, lawn equipment, furniture, trash bags, retractable dog leashes, paper goods and everything in between! Since deals move really quickly I post the most to my Facebook Page as it’s the easiest way to find them quickly for you! Make sure you have your settings on “see all” so you don’t miss a deal. I’d love to have you come like my page!

Why did you start Fun2Find Deals?

My husband and I are constantly looking for the best deals on everything and I was always sharing them on my personal page. We often send deals to each other that we like. I started sharing the deals I found on my personal Facebook page, but that seemed annoying for my friends who didn’t want to see a bunch of products for sale. I thought it would make sense to start a public page where I could share more deals and not post as many to my personal page. I’ve actually wanted to do this for a long time, but only got up the nerve to really go for it in the last year!

How do you find the deals?

While some of the deals are just things I randomly find while searching for things we need, some of them are sent to me by specific vendors. I weed through the codes they send and find ones that work and that would be helpful! It can be really time consuming, but it’s also really fun when I find an awesome deal! I also frequently share deals I find as I’m searching for things for our family.

Does it cost your readers any extra to buy through your links?

No! I am part of several programs that essentially pay me a tiny percentage of the sale for advertising for them! I make pennies on most sales, but it doesn’t change the price for you at all! It helps me and doesn’t affect your price point at all!

Do you buy ALL the deals yourself?

Haha! No! We live primarily on my husband’s income and have a budget, so there’s no way I could buy them all! I do like to try out the clothes I find that are highly discounted, but even then I can’t buy ALL of them! On the flip side, I try to only post deals that have great reviews if I haven’t had a chance to try them myself! My goal is to offer quality items. I don’t earn anything if a product is returned, so it doesn’t help me to share a terrible product that everyone is going to hate.

How do you make it “fun” for everyone?

I do lots of giveaways on my Facbeook page and blog! See the current giveaway here!

Is this your primary job?

Nope! My primary job is of course being mom to my 3 year old twins, and growing our little one on the way, but I also work as a Registered Nurse! I’ve worked with adults and on a pediatrics unit. Right now I take care of the tiny preemies in the NICU.

When you have 2 seconds to yourself what do you usually end up doing with your time?

Hmmm. I often take that time to pluck my eyebrows. Lol! It’s comforting to feel just a little better about myself. They are sorely overlooked. I need to paint my nails, too. Someday I want to start reading again.

What’s your favorite part of the job?

Definitely finding an amazing deal that everyone loves! I also appreciate that I can do this on my own time when my boys are playing or after they go to bed at night. It’s definitely a balancing act trying to find the best deals and to also stop and make time for my family when I need to.

What’s one final thing you want to share with your readers?

I couldn’t do this without you! My page grows by word of mouth the best, so when you share my Facebook page or tell others about my blog you’re helping me out just as much as if you buy through my page! Also, if you buy *anything* through my links I earn a small commission, not just the original linked item. This helps me so much! You have probably been seeing ads for Amazon Prime Day everywhere and you may be wondering why all the hype? For me, long before I started Fun2Find Deals, I looked forward to Amazon Prime Day. It’s like Black Friday in July. The prices are insanely low on lots of things. One year I saved half on diapers and completely stocked up! You never know what kind of deals they’re going to have, but we DO know there will be thousands of deals.

When is Prime Day?
July 15-16 are the primary days, but there will be deals before and after. The majority of deals will be posted on those 2 days.

What do I need to know about Prime Day?
Wading through all the deals can get a little bit hairy. Last year I didn’t have a strategy and I quickly got overwhelmed. If you want help seeing what the most popular/best deals are, make sure you like Fun2Find Deals on Facebook! Even better, join the Fun2Find Deals Group I will be primarily posting deals there! I am planning on scouring the deals to share the best deals with YOU!
