Product Review Wednesday – Makeup Remover Towels

May 22, 2019      Chandler Lear      Leave a Comment

While I enjoy putting on makeup – well, maybe not the actual putting on, but I like the end result – I really don’t like taking it off! Random fact: I usually only take 5 minutes on my makeup in the morning! I want it to look nice, but not take significant time out of my day. (Please don’t tell me that you could tell… 🤪). On the flip side, I HATE scrubbing at my face to get my makeup off! It’s the worst! I’d been hearing about makeup remover cloths and finally decided to try some when I found a good deal on Amazon!

Full Disclosure: Links in this post may be affiliate links. I use these to help keep my blog going. I appreciate when you use my links to purchase products (and I know you appreciate knowing it doesn’t cost you any extra!). Find my deal page to see great deals HERE!

Recently I tried these. Always Off Makeup Remover Cloths.

At first I wasn’t sure if I liked them or not. Lately, I’m annoyed if I don’t have one clean to use! They’ve become a great part of my facial care routine!

S & T Always Off Makeup Remover Cloths

Although I wash my face with soap twice a day, I hate using other makeup removers on my face. I’m not sure why – I think because of the additional expense (eye makeup remover + cotton swabs for example), the additional time, and not finding a natural eye-makeup remover I liked. I’m all for the most natural, least expensive, and least time intensive route when it comes to daily care routines. Before getting these cloths I usually got *most* of the eye makeup off at night and just let it smear a little, and then when I washed my face in the morning I’d get the rest off.

Sinland Microfiber Makeup Remover Cloth

I saw these microfiber makeup remover cloths for the first time a while ago on Amazon. They looked like a fun idea, and useful if they would remove eye makeup without an additional product, but I didn’t want to spend $10 unless I knew I was going to use them. Well, one day I noticed this pack of Reusable Microfiber Makeup Remover Cloths for a lot less than $5! I felt like I could spend that for a trial run! I added them to my cart.

Nano Towels is a great brand and also have a Makeup Remover Cloth!

I honestly wasn’t expecting to really like them. I wasn’t sure if they would remove my mascara with just water… it seemed too much to ask. However, I’ve had GREAT success with them! I use one to clean off the mascara as good as possible with water, and then when I wash my face the rest just comes off. They do remove my makeup with just water, too, but I still have to use soap because that’s me 😂. My face tends to break out more if I don’t wash my face twice a day… so I just stick with that.

I am impressed with the pack of cloths I originally got. The 3 pack is almost enough for me. I think a few more would be nice. I throw them in with my regular laundry and usually have a clean one available. I have noticed that the edges are already starting to fray/come apart a little at the seam. So once they need replaced I think I will get the nicer pack to see if they’ll last a little longer. A friend also told me that the MakeUp Eraser cloths have two sides – a softer side and a side meant more for scrubbing. I think that’s a cool feature! They’re a little more pricey, but she said they’re worth it!

The Danielle Erase Your Face Cloths have great reviews! You can get 2 for $8.99

For the rest of my facial routine I use doTERRA Essential Oils and products and really love them! Feel free to ask if you’d like to know what I use. (And yes, I know a lot of oil users use coconut oil to wash their face, but it just didn’t work well for me… so I use a doTERRA or Neutrogena facial cleanser because that’s what I’ve found works).

So, there you go! That’s a little about my daily facial regimen. Have you tried the Reusable Microfiber Makeup Remover Towels? Tell me how you like them!

I tried out @sunflourks today for the first time! I tried out @sunflourks today for the first time! Lovely shoppe! Lots of hand made items for purchase as well as yummy coffee and food, too! I didn’t realize it was all vegetarian (with the option of vegan & pretty much everything can be made gluten free if you need that!) so I got a grilled cheese for lunch. It was delish! And my mocha was super tasty from the first sip to the last! Make sure to stop in and shop local!
