Do you use Chatbooks?! I do! I have made several Chatbooks, including one of my twin boys’ entire first year! It’s huge! I was able to transfer all of the photos I’d uploaded to Facebook AND all the captions (I write a lot!) and the book turned out wonderfully. I love it!
Full Disclosure: Links in this post may be affiliate links. I use these to help keep my blog up and going! I appreciate when you use my links to purchase products (and I know you appreciate knowing it doesn’t cost you any extra!), and I also appreciate you hanging out and reading my blog! Also, find my deal page to see great deals HERE!
You can also make a series from Instagram or Facebook and make consecutive books each month. This is a great way to easily keep the pictures you’ve uploaded printed!
Beyond all of that they have Mini Books now – great for little kids to look at the pictures! And pints, and cards (I’ve used them for our Christmas Cards!)… so many options!
Chatbooks also make great gifts, especially for family members like grandparents! The one picture per page makes them easy to see, and you can easily caption it for a special memory book to be treasured always!
The only way to make Chatbooks any better, would be to get them at a discount! I’m privileged to share a 20% off coupon with you! My exclusive code Fun2Find20 will take 20% off a one-time order of anything! The best way to use this would be to first sign up with my referral code and get your first book for $10 off! Then, use code Fun2Find20 on your next order! It’s good one time until 10/23!

With our family’s overall goal of saving money – we try not to eat out very often. However, sometimes it’s just nice to grab a bite out! And if you do it right, it doesn’t have to be too expensive. One of the ways we have saved a few $$$ when treating ourselves to a ready-made meal are these apps! With some we can earn free food by earning points for purchases. Others have great coupons to save a few dollars. These are the 4 I have used most often.
4. McDonalds McDonald’s has daily deals on their app! I don’t eat here a whole lot, but there are times I just need a quick French Fry and Diet Coke (not healthy, I know!). They usually have a free drink or $1 French Fry on their app! For a while they had BOGO Happy Meals and with twins we needed that deal! I also find good deals on chicken nuggets or tenders frequently. We kinda live on chicken nuggets and tenders in this house.
3. Sonic Half price drinks all day long with the app! They also offer app-only coupons like free sandwiches with purchase. I’m all about free food! I did get frustrated with it lately with the payment through the app. It requires that you load money to the app in $10 increments to get the deals. I had $6 left over on it the other day, but when I paid it charged my credit card instead of my $6 credit. Not sure why that happened and if it happens again I’ll contact them. I’m also wondering if this means I don’t have to load money to it anymore? So many questions! But the deals are still good, so I’ll keep using it for now!
2. Starbucks Starbucks has earned my business with their app. Because I buy Starbucks ground coffee for our home coffee maker and enter my receipts for points, AND when I go out for a rare Mocha I usually go to *$, I end up earning free drinks once in a while. By keeping my gold status I also get a free drink or item on my birthday! It’s the best! And totally worth using the app. Plus, one time when I forgot my wallet at the grocery store and I was there by myself with both babies, I was still able to get a Starbucks drink because I had credit on my app. It saved the day! I just recently read that the Starbucks rewards program will be changing next month, so I hope I still like it as much!
1. Chick-Fil-A! Would you expect anything else? We may have a higher-than-usual love for Chick-Fil-A in this house but the truth of the matter is that the CFA app gives away more food than any other app I’ve seen! Not only does every CFA in Wichita send me a free food item every Monday (this week I get a free breakfast sandwich and 3 free chicken tenders times 2), I also earn points every time I purchase a food item to earn MORE free items. I also get a free birthday cookie through the app. Sometimes I get other random food items that appear in my app “just because”. AND when we’ve gone out of town (both in KC and in Dallas) I just opened my app in that city and a free sandwich popped up! Another favorite option of mine is that when the boys are playing in their play area I can make a mobile order on my phone and they will just bring it to me so I don’t have to take the boys with me to order or leave them. We like CFA so much my SIL gave us a cute CFA doormat for Christmas! I am pretty sure that CFA gives me more free food than I could ever buy from them! They’re the best!
I’m wondering if there are other restaurant apps out there I should be trying?! Do you use any other ones and get good rewards?
Taking kids to the store is a challenge! We all know that! Sometimes I like to get out of the house with them, but usually I like to avoid any in store arguments or tantrums! If nothing else, I try to avoid going in to more than just a couple stores when running errands, because the more stores we go to the bigger the chance that someone is going to get tired and throw a fit. (And of course, that person just might be ME!)
One of the lifesaving services I’ve found is grocery pickup! I use Kroger Clicklist a lot because they’re closer and I like to take advantage of their sales. I also only use them when I can get free pickup with a coupon or by purchasing certain items. However, I also like to use Walmart’s grocery pickup – especially because you can get $10 off your first order, and then $10 off subsequent orders if you share your referral link with friends! How do you get $10 off your first order? Keep reading!
If you’re new to Walmart Grocery Pickup you can use my referral code for $10 off your first order! The best part is that you simply order from your couch, then just stop by the Walmart you chose when ordering. There they will bring out your order and even load it for you! So easy! Here’s my referral link ➡️➡️ http://r.wmt.co/lB5vZ
Or, if you’ve ordered before but still want a deal, use the promo code DELIVERY to get 3 FREE deliveries from Walmart Grocery Pickup (order must be $50+). This promo was still good at the time of posting! Grocery delivery is the beeeeeeest. Once you’ve used your free deliveries from Walmart you will be SOLD. It’s so easy.
Hint: If you’d like to keep getting FREE deliveries all year you should look into Shipt. We have a Shipt subscription because we got an AMAZING deal on it last year and my twin boys were younger and getting out was so so hard. If you want to check it out you can use my referral link and you’ll get $50! off your year long membership!
I hope this helps with your grocery shopping! What tips have you found to make grocery shopping easier with littles?! I’d love to hear from you!
I have tried on NO LESS than 50 coats since January 1. And yet, finding The Perfect Coat still alludes me. I may have found a tip, though, from my wonderful friends at church who keep trying to help me out!
All The North Face coats are 30% off online right now at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Which is a pretty good price. BUT, did you know they are 40% off IN STORE? And, they will order your size for you from online, and price match, and ship it to you directly! So, if you’re looking for a coat, go in to Dick’s and have them order you a coat for 40% off!
Just FYI, you do have to ask them to. The cashier rang up my coat at the 30% off online price. I simply asked, “Can you price match that to your in-store discount of 40% off?” and they said yes, and ordered my coat.
The only problem is they didn’t have any in my size in the coat I wanted in stock, so I had to order a different size. We’ll see if I can size down or not when it gets here. Free Returns if it doesn’t work!
They also had several racks of newly clearance TNF jackets, as well as other great brands!
I’ve had great success calling and making use of warranties with items I buy. And not talking about buying additional protection plans – just the warranty that comes with the items. Here’s 2 short stories on how I’ve gotten use out of my warranties lately!
We have had a handheld Shark vacuum for a few years. It only worked for a year or 2 after we got it, and then the battery stopped holding a charge. I didn’t know what to do with it so it just sat there. I recently posted the picture below on Facebook with a question about what to do. I was ready just to throw the vacuum away! I got some great advice from friends that I should call Shark and see what their customer service could do for me! I was told they are very helpful, so I made sure to call as soon as I could.
When I called, the CS rep that answered wasn’t very friendly. He wasn’t *un*friendly, but he was talking in a weird lilt that seemed to say “I don’t want to be on the phone and I don’t care.” Because of this, I asked to speak to a manager after he said he couldn’t help me much. His only option was for me to buy a new battery for a lot more than I wanted to spend on an old vacuum!
When the manager called me back the next day she was able to do a little better for me. I ended up getting a new battery for the price of shipping. I felt like this was a good compromise and agreed to pay for the shipping. She did remind me I was past my warranty so they technically didn’t have to do anything. I’m thankful they were willing to work with me and help me out!
The battery should be here in a few days. I honestly can’t wait! It will be so nice to have a handheld vacuum in the basement!
The other recent experience I’ve had with using a warranty is on my My Pillow. Did you know they have a 10 year warranty? My My Pillow wasn’t staying as puffy as I’d like it to after only a year. I didn’t have my receipt but they were able to use the tag on the pillow to look up my info and sent me a new one free of charge! In this case I just sent them an email and they replied quickly and were super helpful. It was definitely worth it to shoot them an email.
All this to say, don’t forget that sometimes all it takes is a few phone calls and you might be able to save quite a bit of money! Warranties come with lots of products, and you can always google to find out what kind of warranty your item might have. Even if it doesn’t end up working out, no harm done. It’s definitely worth a call or email!
